Chris Ryan is the principal trainer at Rushcutters Boxing. He started boxing when he was 13, going on to have more than 90 amateur fights over ten years.

 

After hanging up the gloves to work full-time as a writer, Chris maintained his interest in the sport, appreciating the health benefits – both physical and mental – that came from his training.

 

As a certified personal trainer, he looks to provide enjoyable classes where his clients can pick up boxing skills while getting stronger, fitter and healthier ­– without having to climb in the ring to trade punches.

Rushcutters Boxing specialises in one-on-one training and small group classes that ensure clients get the attention they need as they develop their skills and improve their fitness.

Sessions vary from private boxing lessons, focusing on technique, to HIIT classes designed to burn calories and get you in shape fast. Workouts are tailored to each client’s ability and goals.
